North Carolina's Elder Exploitation Statute

In Mecklenburg and Cabarrus counties, elder attorneys have been encouraged by a heightened commitment in local district attorneys to explore and prosecute criminal charges in cases of elder exploitation.

When the law was updated on December 1, 2013, Mike Anderson published the attached article in The Will & The Way, the newsletter for the North Carolina Bar Association's Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law section.
